Day 3: Christmas Wishlist

I mean, of course this will have a shit ton of books!
But I have already voiced my opinion on what books I want so I think I will go ahead and mention books that I havent voiced that I want

And non book items as well, lets keep this original

Socks

Uhm... Yeah, as a child, getting socks is the weirdest thing, but as an adult, I simply dont have enough god blessed socks! They all mysteriously disappear of get ruined after one wash!
I recently bought new socks and I swear I am a happier person for it.

Me Before You Movie
This movie makes me cry like no ones business. I swear, ill typically get over a movie being sad after the first 2 times watching it but not this one. I totally need it for my collection.

Need I go further?! This is what I need in life! Period

Throne of Glass Hardcovers
So I really loved the series and have yet to actually own any of them and I know this is a series that needs re-reads so I totally need them all!

Macbook
Uhm... This is one thing I know I wont get but I felt like I should go ahead and say it anyways.
To be honest im not even sad about not getting it cuz I have my computer so its like, I have that, dont need anything else. But this could be said about pretty much anything else really. Like books, I can always check them out from the library, dont need to actually own them if I have those... Which is why I have stopped buying as much D:

Macarons
These little craps are sooooo expensive, this is actually a wishlist item I do wish for. They are impossible to make and are super expensive and not easy to find. We used to have a place that sold them by my house but... Sadly they closed down, no one was really buying.. CUZ THEY WERE LIKE 3 BUCKS A PIECE! They were tiny! And they also sold cupcaked but they were like 5 each... The prices were pretty insane.

This is probably the only band that I actually legit love

Now this wishlist item would actually be directly through the bad because there is sadly no vinyl for this one which SUCKS because it is my favorite album by them!
I mean, psh, I could SURVIVE with a signed edition of this book xD

So I have the ARC of this book (I was blessed by the gods, I know) and its even signed, but I have yet to get my hands on the hardcover for this one!

Bella Swan Funko pop
So yeah.... I have a large collection of twilight stuff apperently.,
I even made my own Edward funko WAY before they announced the release of the ones that came out a couple of weeks ago.

I mean, I surely have a lot more stuff that I would love for christmas but since I have already thrown my wishlist out into the world, I cant think of anything else to add for here.

So I had wanted to read the books ever since I started watching the series earlier this year with a friend and of course, I became obsessed with it!

When I started to read the books though I wanted to mark all of the deaths that happened during the period of the book, (except animal deaths) and that is what came out of it, I actually didnt count them but I know that there is more than 40 tabs in there

OH! Shoutout to my main Jelly Bean Jenny who not only found these amazing tabs but gifted them to me! Tabs are hella expensive where I am from and im extra in love because they are super thin plastic arrow tabs

ANYWAYS!

Freaking enough with the non sense

The book made it so much easier for me to understand the show, you get of course a lot more details but not going to lie. This is the best adaptation I have ever seen!

G. R. R is a god.

Without the show I know for a fact I would not have gotten around to the books, and that wouldve been the biggest mistake of my life.

He does the best job I have ever seen at keeping a reader entertained even when it is not a genre they typically read. Im saying this because this is my case.

The whole book is not something I would ever have added to my TBR pile (To Be Read pile) but oh damn, I never hesistated with this book, there was never a dull moment. 

The characters are young, but everything that they do and go through makes you forget it and when you are reminded of their young age it just makes you think, " How twisted it all of this"

Which all in honesty adds to the whole world.

My favorite character remains the same in the book and the show

Daenerys Targaryen

Her character development is like a slap in the face! 

Her story line made more sense to me in the book than in the show, since you get more of her thoughts and the reasoning and interactions with everyone in there, it makes more sense why she does things. Everything is more intense. 

Tyrion Lannister is... He is something else, he is something who has gone through a lot and while we see that in the show it is sadder in the books.

The way G. R. R. writes is simply captivating. Everything about it is just like a glass of the best wine

I wish my TBR pile was shorter so I could continue on with the adventure but at the same time im glad since the series is yet to be finished and catching up with the books would mean waiting for the release of the next book which will probably be released when the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, when the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves, when Daenerys's womb quickens again, and she bears a living child. 

Then of course, 2 more after that!

I dont think I have ever anticipated a release so much for any other author.

THATS RIGHT! EVER

I feel like I have talked a lot yet have said nothing. I just cant manage to get over it, if you have seen the first season of the show, that will cover the first book. If you havent seen the show or read the books then go out there and do something about it , I havent been able to say much because I end up spoiling everything xD

Recommend it?

I mean if you are a book lover and youre as in love with the show as I am, then yeah, you need to read this as soon as you can.

If you simply love the show, you should really attempt reading these books, they are amazing.

Blogmas Day 2

On the second day of blogmas my true Jen gave to me

Day 2: Introduce yourself

Now that I think about it I don't think I have ever introduced myself

I have introduced other people but never myself

So my name is Valeria, I go by Vale

Above is a picture of me before I died the bottoms of my hair and my colorist fucked it all up... Yeah

I mean I would still take a recent picture but I have a wisdom tooth growing out and half my face is swollen

It is NOT fun.

So I am 20 years old, I live in southern California and have NO idea what people would like to know about me besides I LOVE books and my favorite youtuber is SimplyNailLogical

Books arent the only thing I have a lot of, I used to collect nail polish so I have over 100 nail polish bottles, which also means I used to do my nails every week, I was well known for it.

I also have a crap ton of movies and because my friends travel a lot, I also collect small snowglobes.

Another thing about me is that I like to paint!

My style of painting is an odd one that I honestly don't know why I do it like that all the time. I like to work with matte paints and then typically do details with a shine coat on the top

 So this one is actually a present for someone that I made, all the lettering I decided was going to go ahead and stand out. This one is not my design, it is actually by Risa Rodil I believe, so if you want one go buy one from her page. I added the feet and the whole shine so you wouldnt find it like that and the coloring is also different, I adapted it to what the receiver would like and that I could actually do.











This one I never did find out who made it but I changed the colors as well and for the shine aspect or "stand-out" I did silver pain for the bow, copper for the arrow and gold for the pin and covered it with gloss so it all stands out















This one is probably the one that wasthe hardest to do and so not what I am used to painting. It was actually the first large canvas that I ever did as well. I honestly don't know how i managed to do the clouds xD The stand out aspect of this one is the city skyline.













This one I saw on bookstagram and I remember commenting, Im totally doing this! I changed all the colors and what the books all say xD, the stand out aspect was actually the whole background, decided to keep all the lettering and books matte.














So here are 3 of my biggest loves. Marissa Meyer, Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games! The shine aspect of the Targaryen crest was of course going to be the dragon but it been months and I have yet to get to it ! The words one was a bookmark that I saw and I was like imma make this into a canvas.... The bookmark was much prettier.

The stars are all the shine aspect... Yeah, that was a bitch and a half to paint xD

















I am not creative to be honest, with personal paintings I am really not because I hate all my work and unless I know how it is going to look in the ends, I wont actually work on it. I need to have a solid idea of what I am dealing with or other wise I wont put any effort on it. Wrong, I will put effort but I will simply hate it all the time xD

There is also a small painting I did for someone that was the yellow umbrella from how I met your mother that in gloss, inside the umbrella, actually had a bunch of phrases from the show, it is honestly one of the collest things I have ever done but sadly I don't have a picture of it. And I also painted BB8 and the silver in the circles were the shine aspect of it, I also do not have a picture of that.
